My name is Leon L. Rogers II, and I am humbled and proud to serve as your President as of July 2020. I look forward to working with each of you to help you get the most out of your affiliation with the D.C. Chapter and the national organization. My Executive Board and I are eager to bring a fresh perspective to mentorship, scholarship, and leadership.
We’ve revamped our website to help facilitate our communication with our current and future members. We look to transform our site to help with the social and community aspects as we navigate these uncertain times. Our goal is to engage and stay connected to our members, not just today but for a lifetime. Our various links found on our website contains useful information that should facilitate your ability to be a committed and active member of the Washington D.C. Chapter of The ROCKS, Inc.
Attracting members from the greater Washington, DC area, this chapter is renowned for its vigor, outreach, and camaraderie. We will endeavor to maintain that same sense of community and grow our organization to new levels. As we continuously honor our past to reaffirm our triumphs, we confidently eye the future as we continue to move forward to realize our true potential. In short, this year is going to be dynamic both individually and collectively!

To achieve this feat, your contributions are vital. Again, it is the membership that makes this organization grow and succeed. Our core competency is mentoring, focusing on strengthening the Army’s current cadre of officers & building a “bench” with depth and versatility.
This chapter meets monthly and conducts signature events at least once a quarter. Numerous committees and task forces provide varied opportunities to get involved. Whatever your respective niche may be, the ROCKS DC Chapter has something for you… please don’t let the many options pass you by; get involved and stay involved. We value your talents and experiences and eagerly want to help you leverage them to help others. We exist, and we grow for the betterment of each other. As we do this, we add value to our profession and the country’s national security vitality.
